class of 2025

Ngwa Educational Outreach Foundation (NEOF) was established in 2001 by Dr. Obinna Ubani-Ebere’s administration to administer NNAUSA’s educational and outreach programs in Nigeria to Ngwa/Ukwa scholars. NEOF is owned and funded by members of the Ngwa National Association USA, Inc. (NNAUSA). We offer full four-year college tuition, grants, and scholarships to deserving students within the 9 local government areas (Aba North, Aba South, Isiala Ngwa North, Isiala Ngwa South, Obi Ngwa, Osisioma, Ugwunagbo, Ukwa East, Ukwa West).

The NNAUSA Educational and Outreach Foundation (NEOF) will continue with its practice of awarding scholarships to deserving students in Nigerian Universities. Eligibility for the scholarship is restricted only to students from the 9 local government areas of Ngwa and Ukwa. One scholarship shall be awarded to each of the 9 Ngwa/Ukwa local government areas. Each scholarship covers a maximum of a 4-year university program. Individuals who are awarded the scholarship with less than 4 years to graduate are limited to coverage until graduation. The scholarship shall be open to both current and prospective students at any accredited university in Nigeria. To qualify for the scholarship, potential awardees must:

  1. Download, complete, and satisfy other requirements as set forth in the application form, which is published annually.
  2. Show acceptable proof of satisfactory academic performance (if they are already enrolled in an accredited university); or
  3. Show acceptable evidence of admission into a bachelor’s degree program in an accredited university.
Application form

Beneficiaries shall be chosen through a random ballot, which will be conducted during the annual NNAUSA Convention. The deadline for submission will be announced each year and also included in the annual convention program announcement. Applications received within the deadline will be included in the random ballot.
