(L) Dr. Alex C. Otti, Abia State Executive Governor & (R) Mazi Victor Ahuruonye, NNAUSA President

NNAUSA is a very strong and reputable charitable socio-cultural non-profit organization in North America with its mission focused on uniting all Ngwa people resident in North America and other parts of the world; promoting the social, educational, cultural and economic advancement of Ngwas; and fostering good relationships between Ngwas and members of other communities in the United States and other countries.

Your victory is a victory for all Abians irrespective of political affiliation; it shows that the hand of the Almighty God is truly on our God’s own State and we thank you for your tenacity, steadfastness and consistent courage. The best way to thank Abians for this mandate is by giving it your best and delivering on your campaign promises.

We are confident that you will continue to put the interest of our State first in all your actions and more so hit the ground running with focus on the Anchors of your Social Covenant With Abians which encapsulate the five powerful pillars that you listed in your manifesto, namely: Governance, rule of law, and strategic partnership across frontiers; Economic transformation for job creation and poverty reduction; Social Transformation: Education, health, youth development and better life for women and vulnerable citizens and residents; Internal Security; The Environment: Green, purpose built modern markets, smart cities and industrial pivots.

We also thank the out-going Executive Governor of Abia State His Excellency Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu for his services to Abia State, valued contributions, and unswerving engagement with NNAUSA.

Your Excellency, we recognize that the task ahead of you is enormous and will not come without sacrifices but be assured that you have our goodwill and support; we hope that you will use this to make Abians proud. As you embark upon your new responsibilities, we also assure you of the continued friendship, partnership and interest of NNAUSA. We look forward to working with you not only to develop closer relations between NNAUSA, your government and Abians, but also to concert our efforts in the cause of peace and the development of our people.

Once again, Congratulations Your Excellency Dr. Alex C. Otti, it’s time to etch your name in gold in Abia State.
